Subject: Magnetic Billiards: Seriously Casual
This is the pencil sketch I did for the first of the Victorian looking characters in our new game, and it was from doing these that the idea of the Victorian portraits came about.
This is for a texture / graphic for the user interface, a little face that accompanies some text windows, with expressions matching whether or not the text box represents success / failure, etc.
As this was the first character, I found it by far the hardest to do, and it's probably the worst one (we've got five so far, each in charge of a different 'sub domain' within the game).
I felt really rusty when I drew this, and probably did quite a few even rougher sketches first, before pencilling these.
