Here's a page from an old work notebook, from 2005. It's some rough layout sketches from when I was making the soldier characters from Naked War.

I've got loads of little doodles and sketches like this in my work notebooks, usually interspersed with to-do lists and phone numbers and email address and stuff like that.

I think I was just working on the rough shapes and characteristics of each rank's model, in male and female variations. Later sketches (perhaps for a later date) will show my manual breakdown into polys, as they were pretty low poly models as we wanted the minimum spec for Naked War to be as low as possible.
