Another little piece of Plok promo art, from my Magic Marker phase, drawn for our SNES game from the early 1990s.
One of the neat features of Plok was that the main character got to drive various mad vehicles, or don power-up costumes / disguises like this, at various points in the game, which was something we had a lot of fun with.
Plok got to play Rocky for a little sequence that probably only lasted about 30 seconds in the game, where the boxing glove fists he fired were powered up.
What really made it work was the excellent, manic pastiche of the Rocky theme that the musicians Tim Follin and Geoff Follin composed to play in the background. You couldn't help but smile when it happened in the game.
