Subject: Magnetic Billiards: Seriously Casual

This is the very first rough sketch I did for the Magnetic Billiards logo.

As well as being all wonky, it contains the classic problem with the first draft of any lettering that I do - it's got a spelling mistake in it!

My spelling isn't particularly bad when I'm writing, but there must be something about drawing detailed lettering and logos that switches off the spelling module in my brain. I almost always miss letters out when I first draw logos. I have to re-read them about three times to make sure I've got all the letters in the right place when I come to drawing the finished versions.

Sometimes I even get someone else to come and read the logo for me, to make sure I've not made a spelling mistake that I've become blind to.

This logo sketch isn't a million miles away from the final version, although I re-drew it about three different times.
