This is another Plok promo art drawing, from 1993, for our SNES game of the same name.

This one of the many vehicles Plok gets to drive in the game, which along with the costumes, worked as short in short bursts, giving the player some daft, over the top abilities for a few seconds. Most of the vehicles were used in little secret races, which acted as 'warp zones' to skip levels and get to the end of the game faster. Provided you could find the secret levels in the first place, and beat the race.

These kind of in-game secrets - that only a few players were expected to discover, or which a player would only discover after they'd played the game for months - were quite a big deal in the 90s, but you don't get them so much now. I suppose with the internet there's no point in trying to have secrets, as they'd only remain secret for about the first two days after the game's release, then everyone would know about them.

You know what you call a bike made from bricks?

A mortarcycle.
