Subject: Naked War PC

This is one of a series of little comic strips I did for Naked War, to illustrate how the game mechanics worked, and to give new players little tips.

We kind of hoped that packing the Naked War website with pages and pages of information would be a substitute for an in-game tutorial, which we really didn't want to make. Tutorials are really difficult and time consuming to develop, and we hoped that Naked War would be a game people could learn as they played, with the website as backup.

I don't think the idea really worked though, and quite a few people complained about the lack of tutorial. We've learned our lesson, and our new game - Magnetic Billiards - has had a lot of work done on its in-game tutorial.

I really enjoyed drawing these little strips, and should probably do a few more if I can find the time.

When we return to Naked War, after Magnetic Billiards, we will consider adding an in-game tutorial to the updated version of the game.
