Subject: Sketches
After yesterday's moan about not doing enough sketching, I spent most of yesterday drawing this, my 6th entry in a sketchbook exchange I'm involved with.
I was putting this one off because it felt a bit too much like a GCSE art homework project, and just didn't fancy the prospect of drawing the boring stuff in my pockets. I kept trying to think of a weird and wacky angle on the idea, so I could draw something more appealing, but eventually decided that would just be showing off, and I might spoil the sketchbook if I drew something completely at odds with what everyone else had drawn, so yesterday I finally buckled down and just drew the damn stuff!
Those stupid wires were a real pain in the arse to draw, and thankfully I didn't have any money in my pocket, or I'd still be drawing bank note patterns now!
I drew all the icons on the phone, just for something fun and interesting to draw. It was off, with a blank screen, so I had to keep switching it on every few minutes while I was drawing them.
