Chapter 10 final (Deg Illustrations)

The final illustration is mostly empty white-space, which I thought worked well as a contrast between this and the previous illustrations, reflecting the change of tone in this chapter.

With the eye detail in place, I was particularly pleased with the contrast between the thick sweeping black brush strokes of the face, and the fiddly detailed black inking of the iris.

The face itself is a close up of a photo of my youngest niece that I distorted slightly.
