This is a page from the business section of our local newspaper (the Manchester Evening News) after our studio Zed Two announced that Sega had signed Dreamcast Wetrix in Japan, from around August 2000.
The post script to the story is that Wetrix+ on Dreamcast (or Aqua Panic as Sega were going to call it) never actually got that Japanese release, and we never got to make a Sega game, as they dramatically decided to stop supporting the Dreamcast about a week before the game was completed.
Appearing in the local press was as strange as appearing in the national press, when our only previous brushes with fame were limited to the world of video game geeks. I got recognised by a complete stranger whilst walking into a football match about a week after this article was published ("you're that bloke out of the paper aren't you?"). It must have been the beard.
